Create, manage, and track documents through the signing lifecycle.
Document Statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being prepared -- not yet sent to recipients |
| Pending | Sent to recipients, awaiting signatures |
| Completed | All recipients have signed or approved |
| Rejected | A recipient rejected the document |
| Failed | Processing failed |
Creating a Document
The document editor is a 3-step wizard:
- General Settings -- title, tags, workflow mode (sequential or parallel)
- Invite Signers -- add recipients with role, signature method, and order
- Field Placement -- drag-and-drop fields onto PDF pages, assign them to recipients
Document Views
The Documents page lets you filter by tab:
- All -- every document
- Sent -- documents you created and sent
- Received -- documents sent to you for signing
You can also search by title and filter by status.
Viewing a Document
Click any document to view its details, including:
- Current status and signing progress
- Recipient list with individual statuses
- Document activity log with timestamps and IP addresses
Downloading
Once a document is completed, you can download the signed PDF with all signatures embedded and a digital certificate.
Activity Log
Every document maintains a full audit trail:
- Document created, sent, viewed, signed events
- Timestamps and IP addresses for each action
- Exportable as a PDF report
